Established in 1876 and incorporated in 1890, Edmonds is a beach town with a lot going on, from mountain views to shops to nature parks. Downtown Edmonds is a vibrant beachside community that offers a large variety of dining to satisfy any hungry visitor with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For breakfast, start with the cozy, comfort food of the Rusty Pelican. Part of a small area chain, the Rusty Pelican serves only breakfast and lunch, and with that specialization comes excellence.
Housed in a historical wood building, local restaurant Chanterelle specializes in breakfast while offering a full lunch and dinner menu that will delight all day long.
Brewery enthusiasts will enjoy the local brews of Salish Sea Brewing Company, whose menu includes pizza and other common pub menu items for your relaxing night out.
Take a Stroll
Start with a walk at Marina Beach and watch ferries depart Edmonds terminal as a primary gateway way to the Olympic Peninsula.
Next, head up to the historic downtown for the stores, brewhouses, coffee shops, and restaurants. Make sure to make a photo op out of the fountain in the roundabout on Main Street.
Continue up the hillside and enjoy the nature parks and residential neighborhoods, but don’t forget to look out towards the Puget Sound to see the Olympic Mountains come into full glory as you move up the hillside.
